Step three - Alter colour

I edited my photos in Photoshop. I chose this one to edit a long with a few others. I started by blurring out the background. I then changed the colouring of the background to mmake Dawn stand out more and then altered the brightness as it was a little underexposed.

Next I moved on to editing another photo. For this photo i wanted to create the look of a poster or advertisement. Here i have shown the original and the new verision. I have put in the company name to promote their business. I have also included the Zumba logo so people know what Zing Fitness do. This logo does however have copyright.

Here are the screenshots of my work. It shows the process of photo to advertisement. I have done this so that Dawn (Zing Fitness) can use it for her facebook and twitter to help promote herself and her company.

This was achieved by duplicating the background layer, deleting the original and rubbing out the background. This then left me with the second screenshot of just Dawn, i changed the brightness because the original was underexposed which ment she looked quite dark. I then put a plain white background behind her along with some written text in a colour that would go with her outfit. The words read 'Zing Fitness'. After this i changed the background to a gradient of white to dark grey. I also added the Zumba logo so people know what it is that Zing Fitness do.

I went through a similar process with this photo. I first cropped it and then changed the brightness.
This was a rather easy thing to do but it has changed the photo a lot. It looks much better now that i have brightned it.

For this photo I started by changing it to back and white. I used the colour enhancer to change the grey shading throughout it. After this i then used the liquify tool to make my models to appear smaller. I wanted to play around with the different tools that you could use on Photoshop.
